Roadkilled Coyote Fur Pouch

This bag was made out of the entire pelt of a small coyote. It is lined in a leafy forest patterned calico and closes using a fingerwoven deerskin strap. I assembled it using a combination of hand sewing and machine sewing in order to make sure that the bag is durable and well put together. It is very primal looking and a unique way to carry your things around. You won't be able to keep your hands off all that soft coyote fluff!

For those interested in ethically sourced fur, the coyote pelt used to make this bag was a "roadkill" pelt purchased from the lovely Miss Zhon from DeviantART. The deer hide was purchased from a Native American crafts company that gets their deer leather as a byproduct of the meat. No animals were killed solely for their fur or skin in order to make this bag!
