Coyote Brings Fire - Bead Embroidered Medicine Bag

This listing is for a one of a kind bead embroidered medicine bag bearing the motif of Coyote the firebringer. Coyote carries a mouthful of beaded "fire" stolen from the gods.

The bag measures approximately 9 inches by 11 inches and is lined in 100% wool felt. The outside of the bag is butter soft deerhide suede. The shoulder strap has been pieced together crazy quilt style and is deerhide on one side and wool felt on the other. The bottom of the bag is trimmed with coyote fur and the decoration on the front flap of the bag utilizes a coyote face as its central focus. There is a hidden pocket accessible through Coyote's ears for hiding your small secret things in. It is currently stuffed with tissue to help the coyote face hold its shape.

I originally made this piece for myself but haven't been able to utilize it in a way that makes me happy so I wanted to give it a chance to move on to someone else. It is meant to be worn with the strap across the chest like a messenger bag, and the pouch hanging level with the hip. All of the sewing and beadwork was made with durability in mind - this isn't just a show piece, it is meant to be worn.

The shipping price on this item is for USPS Priority Mail. It includes Signature Confirmation and insurance for the price of the item.

I am able to ship this item internationally, but only to countries in which it is legal to ship coyote parts and products. I also require registered mail for all international shipments, which is a flat $11.75 on top of cost of shipping. For this purchase I will also require the buyer to pay for insurance.
